Our Editorial Process
At GMMY, we take health information seriously. Every piece of content on our site goes through a rigorous review process before publication.
How We Create Content
Our content team follows a structured process for every article and guide we publish:
- Research: We start with peer-reviewed studies from PubMed, NIH, and other medical databases. Every health claim must be backed by published research.
- Writing: Our writers create clear, accessible content that explains complex nutrition topics in plain language.
- Fact-Checking: Every article is checked against its cited sources. We verify study findings, dosage information, and safety data.
- Review: Content is reviewed by GMMY founders Chris M. and Yauhen, who verify accuracy and ensure it meets our quality standards.
- Quality Control: Before publication, content passes automated checks for accuracy, readability, proper citations, and FDA compliance.
- Updates: We review and update published content regularly to reflect new research findings.
Our Standards
- Citations Required: Every health-related article includes five or more links to peer-reviewed research on PubMed, NIH, or other medical databases.
- No Exaggerated Claims: We never claim our products cure, treat, or prevent any disease. We use careful language like "may support" and "research suggests."
- FDA Compliance: Every product-related page includes the required FDA disclaimer.
- Readability: We write at an eighth to ninth grade reading level so our content is accessible to everyone.
- Regular Updates: Articles display the date of their last review. We update content when new research becomes available.
Sources We Trust
We prioritize information from:
- PubMed — the US National Library of Medicine database of biomedical research
- NIH Office of Dietary Supplements — fact sheets on vitamins and minerals
- World Health Organization — global health guidelines
- Mayo Clinic — evidence-based health information
- Peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Nutrition, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and Nutrients
